It was with joyful hearts that we threw open the doors yesterday and ran out to enjoy the fabulous day that greeted us! What a day it was, filled with a playhouse being opened up, soil being worked, and sun being soaked up by our pale skin.

Last night I had the pleasure of hosting an event honoring and celebrating Rockford-area senior artists. This journey of coordinating Aroha Philanthropy’s Artful Aging Program through the YMCA has been truly magical. The conversations I have had over the course of the last year with our participants tell me that art is truly transformational.
