This journey of coordinating Aroha Philanthropy’s Artful Aging Program through the YMCA has been truly magical. The conversations I have had over the course of the last year with our participants tell me that art is truly transformational. These programs not only enabled men and women to venture out of their homes and learn (or rediscover) a new skill set, but gave them a safe space in which to share stories with one another of life’s trials and triumphs.💚 #artcantransformlives #artcantransformtheworld #rockriverymca #rockfordillinois #rockfordrocksDinner prep 🌿 #rootvegetables #rootveggies #homegrown #urbanhomestead #homestead #homegrown #growityourselfMy youngest decided to experiment with homemade gluten free pasta, so she busted out my Nona’s old school ravioli maker 😍👩🏼🍳 #urbanhomestead #homeschool #makeityourself #homeschoolkids #oldworlditalianwithatwist
